Disney Princesses
For many little girls, a trip to Disney World is not complete without meeting a Disney Princess or two. There are several places in Walt Disney World to meet them - in the parks at the character meet and greets, and in the restaurants, at character meals. Most little girls have their favourite Disney Princesses. We have compiled a list below showing where each princess can be found in the Walt Disney World Theme parks, and which Disney World restaurants have character meals featuring Disney Princesses.
Disney Princesses - Disney World Parks
Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) - Cinderellabration Disney World Magic Kingdom, Fantasyland - this is also a show.
Ariel (The Little Mermaid) - Ariel's Grotto, Fantasyland, Disney Magic Kingdom Park - character meet and greet.
Belle (Beauty and the Beast): Beauty and The Beast - Live on Stage, Sunset Boulevard, Disney World MGM Studios - this is not a meet and greet, it is a spectacular stage show.
Cinderellabration Disney World Magic Kingdom, Fantasyland - this is also a show, featuring several Disney Princesses.
Storytime with Belle - Fantasyland - Disney World Magic Kingdom.
Cinderella: Cinderellabration Disney World Magic Kingdom, Fantasyland - this is also a show, featuring several Disney Princesses.
Cinderella's Royal Table, Fantasyland, Magic Kingdom.
Jasmine: Cinderellabration Disney World Magic Kingdom, Fantasyland - this is also a show, featuring several Disney Princesses.
Snow White: Cinderellabration Disney World Magic Kingdom, Fantasyland - this is also a show, featuring several Disney Princesses.
Note - Sometimes it is possible to meet the some of the Disney Princesses in the Judges Tent, Toontown Fair - Magic Kindom. However, these characters change, throughout the day, so you can't guarantee meeting a particular Princess there.
Many little girls love to dress up as their favourite princess for character meals. It is much cheaper to buy your princess costumes before you arrive in Walt Disney World.
Disney Princesses in Disney World Restaurants
Advance Seating Reservations can be made 180 days out at these character meals featuring Walt Disney World Princesses and we highly recommend that you make them as soon as possible.
Alice in Wonderland - Afternoon tea at 1900 Park Fare - Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.
Cinderella - Dinner at 1900 Park Fare - Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.
*Note - Akershus Restaurant in Disney's Norway Pavillion in Epcot's World Showcase hosts breakfast, lunch and dinner with the Disney Princesses. Characters rotate, so you cannot be guaranteed to see a particular character on any given day. If your little princess wants to see a certain character, it may be best to try elsewhere. If she doesn't mind which of the following characters she sees, Akershus may be a good choice: Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Snow White, Aurora Sleeping Beauty), Ariel.
*Belle, Jasmine and Snow White sometimes appear at Cinderella's Royal table - but their appearance cannot be guaranteed.
Disney World Princesses - Our Opinion
Many people ask me if Cinderella's Royal Table is worth it. Whilst many people do enjoy eating there, my honest opinion is that it is not worth the hype. We feel that 1900 Park Fare is a much better option, for dining with the Disney Princesses, or alternatively, Akershus in Norway. Our reasoning is as follows:
1) Expense - this character meal is much more expensive than the others, and although the food quality has improved over the years, it is simply not worth the price that Disney World charges for this meal.
2) Difficulty in getting a reservation. Even if you call at exactly 180 days out, when Disney Dining opens, your chances of getting a table are slim. This is because hundreds of other people will be jamming the switchboards at the same time, all wanting the same thing. This leads most people into believing that the experience must be worth it - believe me, it isn't. This character meal is over-hyped, and we all know what happens when something is hyped up out of all proportion - it usually leads to disappointment.
Other Places To See the Disneyworld Princesses
Another wonderful opportunity to see the Disney Princesses, is during the parades. Some lucky children may even be picked to dance with the characters, as the floats go by.
