We put off taking a trip on the Disney Cruise Line because of the cost. Then we discovered that there are much cheaper ways to book the Disney Cruise than going direct through the Disney Cruiseline. After a lot of research, we found a great deal with a cruise wholesaler. If you're wondering what the difference is between making a Disney Cruise Line reservation direct through Disney, or through a cruise wholesaler, there is no difference except the price. We saved a fortune. Admittedly, we were a bit nervous at first, but it's a perfectly painless procedure. Even if you book your cruise through a wholesaler, all your cruise documents are still sent to you directly from Disney, and you are still able to log into the Disney Cruise Line website to prebook children's clubs, excursions, dinner at Palo's etc.
A trip on the Disney Cruise Line isn't cheap, but remember all your meals and many activities and children's clubs are included in the price. As I mentioned, you can make great cruise savings, but going through cruise wholesalers, instead of reserving through Disney and I would highly recommend Cruise Direct.
